This simple and elegant curving symbol is know by many names, but lately it has been used to represent the spectrum of how peoples brains are different, also known as "Nuerodiversity." When I found out that the Autism spectrum community has been using gold as their color due to its periodic symbol being (Au) I knew I had to make a ring to combine the two and also add my own filigree flair.

My kids and I are very proud to be a part of the nuerodiverse community and even though it makes small talk, repetitive noises, and itchy clothes unbearable. I couldn’t do what I do without the unique brain that I have, with its insane attention to detail and insatiable desire to evolve.

Made to order "Nuerodiversity" Rings are made to your exact size and uniquely for you; no two are exactly the same.

Please select the ring in the material you desire and you will be contacted via email to determine your size. If you don't know your ring size, a free ring-sizer can be shipped to you. Production time is generally about 4 weeks and will go in order they are received, but it can vary depending on the season, any design alterations, and how long it takes to determine sizing. If you need it by a certain time, please email to inquire.

These rings can be tailored to fit with another ring for a wedding band or for stacking, as well as having a stone setting added. Due to the added design work, creation time, tailoring, and extra material that accompanies a custom piece, prices on custom rings are generally higher. Packaging

Each piece of jewelry is elegantly wrapped in a special box or velvet pouches, and arrives ready to give as a gift to yourself or someone you love.

If you would prefer minimal packaging and would like to forgo the jewelry box or pouch, please leave a note with your purchase.

Shipping

Most packages ship via USPS and several options are available at checkout. Some local delivery is also available in the Skagit County area of Washington State.

Sustainability

Lierre Filigree strives to live as kindly on the Earth as possible by offering in house precious metal recycling, using vintage and old stock stones and ethically sourced mine to market gems whenever possible, and supporting other small makers with tool and supply purchases.

Each piece of jewelry is created by hand to be heirloom quality using materials that can be endlessly reused and will only increase in value over time. For this reason, we don't offer plated or gold filled filigree.

Shipping boxes & padding are made of 50%-100% recycled materials and are either re-usable, recyclable, or compostable.
